Compare the costs of two rental cars
Service for you by Quantitative Skills
The price to rent a car mostly has three parts, the rent, a charge per mile and the free mileage. That makes it difficult to compare the costs of two rental cars, the one car has a high rent but the price per mile is low, the other time there is a high price per mile, but also a high free mileage. Give the data for two cars for rent and the programme will calculate the costs for both given the number of miles driven.
$
Price per mile. Set the price per mile to zero “0” if you have an unlimited free mileage.
Free mileage. The total number of free miles for the period that you rent the car.
mls
Allowances/discounts. If required give a (Sales Tax) percentage that comes on top of the final bill or a discount percentage. A discount percentage must be preceded by a minus "-" sign.
%
Multiplying. Above it is recommended to give an amount for the full rental period. Here it is possible to multiply the input, for example, give the number 7 if amounts for a hire day must be converted into the costs for a week.
x
Planned distance. A cost comparison is made for the distance that has been given here.
